Apparently, I'm a genetic dork

I indeed have a longer index finger than ring finger. So, I'm apparently more prone to hard sciences than social sciences and education. That must've been my problem when majoring in psyc . . . ;-)

Hard science - soft science - where does that leave me? I must be an extreme freak to have studied both. And my job has me somewhere inbetween. Of course, the article didn't actually say anything about anthropology. BTW my index finger is longer than the ring finger.

AS - You're an extreme freak. ;-)

And actually, your finger configuration does not indicate male typical-ness. That's more female typical. When the ring finger is longer, that's male-typical. So, you should have gotten the propa' pre-natal mix. I'm the freak this time . . .

We just had a speaker who used finger ratios as a proxy for prenatal testosterone exposure in her study. All the male faculty immediately started checking themselves. It was quite funny.
