Despite having lofty(ish) goals at the beginning, the Church Critics blog turned out to be a cause of contention more often than a place for fun and insights. What did I learn from that blog in the end? It became a big reminder that people take their religion quite seriously and get extremely irrate if you objectively assess their practices from a bland, secular point of view.
Plus, writing weekly reviews of new denominations every week was damn hard work!
And finally, it was yet another lesson in what I've ultimately learned is the rock-bottom truth for me in all spiritual quests: Religion makes me crazy!!!!
So, with Astra Skadi's request, I've deleted the blog. I have to thank Astra for humouring me during that period of time. It was a hell of an undertaking and she was very nice about the whole thing.
Well, enough of that . . .

I think the main the thing I go out of visiting the Christians is confusion about why they have to keep telling everyone how horrible they are that they (including me) have to have a god die for them. (Not even going to go into how illogical that is because religion is emotional, not logical. Anyway...)
I'm really glad to have learn more about those wacky Ba'hai though. If only I could bring myself to be monotheist and believe in a linear progression to evolution...
wow
this is huge - but glad you reached some 'conclusion' with that blog - even if it meant that religion drives u crazy.
but its ncie to know you give such thing a thought - i mean -we're in a world where ppl have stopped thinking...
